The Centre des monuments nationaux offers free admission on presentation of proof of identity.
Some monuments are not open to the public on a self-guided basis, but are subject to specific conditions of access, particularly in the context of lecture tours.
The free admission rates listed below do not apply to the following monuments:
- The Colonne de Juillet,
- Les Alignements de Carnac,
- Le Cap Moderne, Eileen Gray and du Corbusier au Cap Martin

Monuments (except the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud) are free on the 1st Sunday of the month from January 1st to March 31st, and from November 1st to December 31st.
Monuments (except the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud and Basilique de St Denis) are free on Saturdays and Sundays during the "European Heritage Days," held on the 3rd weekend of September.
