Billet jumelé Panthéon - Basilique de St Denis

This ticket gives you free access to the royal necropolis, the Fabrique de la Flèche de St Denis, and the Pantheon.

The architecture of the monument has changed considerably over the centuries. In the past, the basilica's spire rose to a height of nearly 90 metres, crowning the north tower of the building and dominating the region's skyline since the end of the 12th century. Hit by violent storms, the tower and its spire were dismantled in the mid-19th century. Today, this lost symbol of the basilica is being reborn! In autumn 2025, the Fabrique de la Flèche will open its doors and invite the public to discover the behind-the-scenes of this exceptional project.

The Pantheon, temple of the French Nation, was originally a religious building glorifying Saint Geneviève, patron saint of Paris. In 1791, the Revolution transformed the monument into a temple of great men. In the 19th century, under successive regimes, it was given a religious or patriotic purpose. Since 1885, when Victor Hugo was laid to rest in the Pantheon, the building has become the resting place of the great men of the nation: Voltaire, Rousseau, Zola, Pierre and Marie Curie... and, since 1 July 2018, Simone Veil.
